Bryncelyn Guesthouse, in beautiful Llanwrtyd Wells is a recently refurbished, family run guesthouse providing ideal accommodation while attending one of the local festivals or holidaying in this idyllic part of Mid Wales.

Nestling in the unspoilt Welsh countryside Bryncelyn provides commanding views of the rolling hills and countryside including the picturesque river Irfon.

We are conveniently located for all the festivities and attractions of Llanwrtyd Wells - Britain’s smallest town with a great deal going on.

Bryncelyn is the ideal base for a holiday exploring our part of historic Wales.

At Bryncelyn you are always sure of a warm welcome from your hosts Lil and Malcolm who have developed the guesthouse to offer traditional hospitality combined with modern comfort and a personal touch.

Please explore the website and find out more about the guesthouse, our rooms, hearty breakfasts as well as things to see and do in this part of Wales. If there is something you need to know, please talk to us – we are always pleased to hear from you.

If you were wondering about our name bryn means hill in Welsh and celyn means holly.

Man versus Horse 2008

We had a great time at the Man versus horse marathon again this year. Take a look at the photographs at the bottom of the Explore page. click here to see them...

Yes they are real!

We were recently asked if the photographs on this web site are really our rooms, or if they are stock photographs that we’ve purchased.  We are pleased to report that all the photographs are real pictures of the rooms in our Guest House.

We've been painting!

We've been closed for the winter, and during that time we've totally refurbished the entire Guest House.

You'll find new rooms, beds, carpets, curtains, towels, in fact the only thing you'll recognise is the warm welcome.
